Principal's Message
Hello Park Avenue Families,
My name is Ally Schleichert, and I would like to introduce myself as your child’s new building principal for this 2023-2024 school year! I began my education career as a Gifted Teacher in the Pickerington Local School District before accepting a position as a Preschool Director and Special Education Coordinator at Madison Local Schools. I was then hired by the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center to serve as a Gifted Coordinator where I worked with their member schools and teachers to improve teaching strategies and gifted education for students, and was assigned to Mount Gilead Schools as Gifted Coordinator. Mount Gilead Schools has been my home for the past two years. I will continue to be the acting Gifted Coordinator for the district in addition to my new role, as building principal at Park Avenue. I’m very excited to work with the staff, students, families, and community in this new capacity.
My husband, Danny, and I became first time parents at the end of May to our Daughter, Cora. Our furry four-legged family members are still getting used to the idea of a human sibling, but we are thrilled with the newest addition. We enjoy boating, traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with our family and friends. I look forward to getting to know and interacting with you as we have many plans to include families for various events throughout the school year.
